Over the last few months, naughty Scamp and Russell have been embarking on a good-natured lovers tiff about Creative vs Planning / Planning vs Creative – so to help them solve their differences, we’re giving them ‘access’ to Advertising Relate’s ‘Problem Resolution Flowchart’.
Hope this helps you guys … or at least unites you against the finance / account service / production / dispatch / media [delete where appropriate] departments.
Look out for more helpful tips and tools to encourage departmental love’ in the coming months and please feel free to send in your own suggestions too.
Remember, love is within us all – unless you’re a complete wanker. [Ahem, no more negativity allowed!]

I would like to publicly express my support for your cause as I strongly believe that if we’re ever going to be able revive the heydays of advertising à la the seventies and eighties, we must all stop acting like pontiffs on coke-fueled ego trips and show a united front to those who pay us outrageous sums of money for what we do.
In the hope that financial support will enable you to mobilise additional support for your cause and the greater good of the industry, I would like to know how to go about making a sizeable donation to your organisation.

I think we need to create a new role of Creanning, or Planative if you will…

Careful Rob… I can see your suggestion causing even more arguing over whose discipline goes first. Maybe we should have a more ambiguous name, like ‘Pedantics’ to keep peace, harmony and egos in check.
